A Pinterest Showcase ad has a title Pin (a standard 2:3 image or video), up to four more cards whose images must be static, and up to three tappable features on each card. The title Pin also appears as the first card. One Sume image job returns up to four images, so the four extra cards fit in a single job.

Structure is from Pinterest's Showcase ads help page, read 2026-10-01; the page notes Showcase ads are not available in every country.

What are the parts of a Showcase ad?

How do I generate the four cards as a set?

Set num_images to 4 (the allowed range is 1 to 4) with a prompt describing one visual system, then pick the strongest four. For consistency across cards, pass the title image as one of the 1 to 10 reference URLs in image_urls on an edit-style job. Request aspect_ratio 2:3 where the model's catalog lists it. Details in the image docs.

Can the title Pin be a video?

Yes, per Pinterest. Sume's video aspect_ratio accepts 9:16 and 3:4, among others, but not 2:3 in the field's listed values, so check the closest ratio against Pinterest's video specs; see Pinterest Pin specs: 2:3 images and video.

What do the features need?

Each feature is a link, built in Pinterest, not part of the image. On the help page a feature can be a URL, an existing Pin with a URL, or a catalog product ID. Leave room in the artwork at the top, since the page advises putting important information at the top of the Pin. Cards created separately can only link to your claimed website.
