Higgsfield's changelog entry of Sep 24, 2026 says its API returned $1 in cashback for every $1 spent on API usage, valid until September 30, 23:59 UTC. That window has now closed. Sume's docs describe no cashback: a job is billed at provider list × 1.25 from the workspace USD balance, and the job result shows the billable amount.

Vendor terms below are quoted from the Higgsfield changelog as read 2026-10-01. Sume behavior is from Video generation and Video Router.

What were the Higgsfield cashback terms?

The entry lists the rules in a few lines. Read the changelog itself for anything not shown here.

Does Sume have a cashback or promo credit?

Not in the pages cited here. The Sume docs say it bills list × 1.25 on every model, and that the amount is reserved on submit from the workspace USD balance. There is one balance and one multiplier, so there is no second pool to spend first.

What does a Sume bill show per job?

The video docs state that usage.cost is the Sume billable amount, so read it from the job rather than recomputing from a provider page. To check a rate before you submit, the docs point to GET /v1/catalog.

What should I do when a provider runs a promo?

Treat it as a vendor-side event. If you call Higgsfield directly, the cashback rules above apply to that account. If you call Sume, your cost is the Sume billable amount on each job. For a side-by-side read of how each API is called, see how the Higgsfield API works.
