Meta's catalog reference lets a product carry up to 20 videos, each up to 200 MB, supplied as a direct download link, not a YouTube player page. A finished Sume video is a file at a media.sume.com URL, so you can put that URL in the feed once you have confirmed its size.

Meta facts are from the Marketing API catalog reference, read 2026-10-01. Sume facts are from the Videos API docs.

What does Meta require?

How do I make one from a product photo?

Use image-to-video: pass the real photo as a first_frame in frame_images, so the clip starts from your product and not a lookalike. Poll GET /v1/videos/{id} until it completes; the file arrives in unsigned_urls.

curl -X POST "https://api.sume.com/v1/videos" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SUME_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "model": "seedance-2.5",
    "prompt": "Slow orbit around the bottle on a counter, soft light, no text",
    "frame_images": [
      {
        "type": "image_url",
        "image_url": { "url": "https://example.com/bottle.jpg" },
        "frame_type": "first_frame"
      }
    ],
    "aspect_ratio": "1:1",
    "resolution": "720p",
    "duration": 6
  }'

What do I check before the feed?

Download the file and confirm it is under 200 MB. Watch it for a changed label or shape. Then store the file at a URL you control and give Meta that direct link. Confirm current limits on Meta's page.
