ElevenLabs v4 3x credits on Creator+ until Oct 12 vs a USD wallet
ElevenLabs shows Eleven v4 with 3x credits on Creator+ until October 12. Sume has no credit multiplier: TTS is a USD price per transcript character.

ElevenLabs' pricing page banner says Eleven v4 comes with 3x credits included on Creator+ until October 12. Sume has no time-limited multiplier: the balance is USD, and text to speech is priced per transcript character at $0.0475 per 1,000 characters, so the cost of a request does not change on a date.
ElevenLabs wording is from its pricing page; Sume's from the API contract, Usage and the pricing FAQ, read 2026-10-01.
What does the ElevenLabs offer say?
The top banner reads "Meet Eleven v4, our most emotive model yet. With 3x credits included on Creator+ until October 12". Further down, the page describes a trial: on Creator plans and above, up to 2x your monthly TTS credits used on v4 won't count against your balance, "Available in the web and mobile apps only". The two statements differ, so read the exact terms on the page before budgeting around either.
How is Sume text to speech priced?
Per transcript character. The request schema says spaces and punctuation count and the maximum is 20000 characters. Sume's balance is USD-denominated, so a request estimate is a dollar amount, not a number of credits that can be multiplied by a promotion.
| Question | ElevenLabs v4 promo | Sume text to speech |
|---|---|---|
| Unit | Plan credits | USD per transcript character |
| Time-limited boost | 3x banner, until October 12 | None |
| Rate | Varies by plan and model | $0.0475 per 1,000 characters |
| Max per request | Not covered here | 20000 characters |
Will the promotion change what I pay after October 12?
On ElevenLabs, the page ties the 3x to a date, so what a credit buys may change when it ends; check the plan terms. On Sume, nothing in the docs ties price to a date; the rate card is the price at the time you submit, and paid generation uses public Sume USD estimates reserved on acceptance.
What should I do before choosing?
Take a real script, count characters with spaces and punctuation, and price it at the current rate. For the longer comparison of credits versus dollars, read ElevenLabs billed in USD, not credits.
