Suno Pro's 20 downloads a month: what 20 Sume tracks cost
Suno caps downloads by plan: 7 trial, 20 Pro, 60 Premier. Sume lists a fixed $0.125 per accepted music generation, so 20 tracks come to $2.50.

Suno's September 3 change gives Pro 20 downloads a month and Premier 60. On Sume, a music generation is a fixed $0.125 per accepted job, so 20 tracks are $2.50 and 60 are $7.50 in generation fees. The two are different meters, and the arithmetic below is only a unit conversion, not a plan comparison.
Suno's numbers come from its policy post and Sume's from the Music 1.0 docs, both read 2026-09-30.
What are Suno's download limits?
Suno's post lists limits by plan, effective September 3, and says songs downloaded on paid plans "remain yours to use commercially or personally." Trial downloads are personal use only.
| Suno plan | Suno downloads | Sume generations at $0.125 |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Up to 7 (lifetime) trial downloads | 7 jobs = $0.875 |
| Pro | 20 downloads per month | 20 jobs = $2.50 |
| Premier | 60 downloads per month | 60 jobs = $7.50 |
| Premier Studio | No download limits | Priced per job, no multiplier |
How does Sume charge for a music job?
The Music Router page says every routable model charges "the fixed Music price per audio generation", and the Music 1.0 page gives it as $0.125 per accepted generation, unaffected by prompt length or an optional image. The docs list no monthly download count. Check the Music Router docs for the billing wording before you budget.
What is not in the comparison?
Suno subscription fees, the features of each plan, and what a Suno download includes are not in this table, and Sume does not offer Suno's models. Sume's own catalog lists the provider list price per model for reference through GET /v1/music-router/models.
How do I submit the job and fetch the track?
A music request takes mode async, sync, subscribe or webhook. With sync or subscribe, wait_timeout_seconds is 0 to 30; with webhook, webhook_url must be a public HTTPS callback. Send an Idempotency-Key on the submit, then poll GET /v1/jobs/{job_id}/status and read GET /v1/jobs/{job_id}/result. The audio is the entry in result.artifacts[] where type is audio, hosted on media.sume.com; raw provider URLs are not public outputs.
The prompt is 1 to 5000 characters. Put exclusions in the positive prompt ("Instrumental, no vocals"), because a non-empty negative_prompt is refused. Full field list: Music Router docs.
