Kling models in Runway MCP vs Sume: what maps to what

Runway MCP added four Kling entries on Sep 18, 2026. Sume lists a Kling v3 Pro row and a Kling motion control MCP tool; it has no Kling O3 row.

Two of Runway MCP's four new Kling entries have a Sume counterpart: Kling 3.0 maps to the kling-3 catalog row (named Kling Video v3 Pro), and Kling 3.0 Motion Control maps to the kling-motion-control_create MCP tool. I found no Kling O3 row in the Sume catalog.

Runway's changelog entry (Sep 18, 2026, paid plans) lists Kling O3 4K, Kling 3.0 Standard, Kling O3 Standard and Kling 3.0 Motion Control. Sume's side is from MCP tools and gates, the hosted MCP page and the catalog code, read 2026-09-30.

How do the four entries line up?

What does Sume's Kling 3 row offer?

The catalog row for kling-3 lists text to video, image to video and end-frame control, with native audio, 720p and 1080p, 4 to 15 seconds, and 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1. It does not list video-to-video or reference inputs. Read the live row from GET /v1/video-router/models before building on it.

How do I reach Kling motion control through Sume's MCP?

The hosted MCP lists kling-motion-control_create among the paid generation tools, beside image_upscale_create and rmbg_create. Paid tools take an idempotency_key. For a walkthrough see the Kling motion control MCP tool in Sume.

Which one should I connect?

They are separate servers with separate catalogs, so match the model you need to the catalog that lists it. If you need an O3 entry, Runway's MCP lists it per its changelog and Sume's catalog does not. If you want Kling 3 plus other video models behind one key, the Video Router is the Sume route; see also Kling 3.0 API.
